Rockley Reunited
30+ Years and still going Strong!
Rockley Watersports was founded in 1976 and to celebrate the company attaining its 30th year of successful operation a party was held on 25th March 2006 at the Lighthouse in Poole.
Following the incredible success of this event we have decided to dedicate this part of our website to staff members, both current and past. Rockley Reunited will enable you to keep in touch with what's new in the world of Rockley and will be a forum for you to send us your news to reunited@rockleywatersports.com. If you are an ex-member of Rockley staff and haven't already registered please follow the sign up link to receive occasional email news, offers and competitions.
We were initially overwhelmed by the response when we announced that a party was going to take place and the turn out on the night was remarkable. It was great to catch up with old faces as well as more recent ones. The party was truly a trip down memory lane, which was made even more special by the many photos sent in by ex-staff members. We would also like to thank everyone who contributed gifts towards the raffle, which on the night raised £2000 to go towards the Julia's House charity. The cheque was presented at the opening of a new hospice and they and we would like to extend greatful thanks to everyone involved.
Your News!
Please make sure you get in touch with your news - where are you now, births, marriages etc - for those of you still in the marine industry (and it's quite a few) we generally catch up at the annual London or Southampton Boat Shows and at the Dinghy Show. But if you are no longer in the marine industry we would love to hear from you, how you are getting on and what you are up to. Drop us some news at reunited@rockleywatersports.com.
