National Boat Shows (NBS) has launched this years Design a Sail competition at the PSP Southampton Boat Show (11- 20 September). Children from Bitterne Manor School in Southampton honed their creative skills yesterday during a visit to the Show, taking part in the nautical challenge to design their own sail.
The two winners will be rewarded with their design onboard the sail of a Topper Topaz boat at the Tullett Prebon London International Boat Show at ExCeL London in January (8-17 January 2010). The lucky winning designers will also receive
£500 worth of gift vouchers courtesy of Rockley Watersports. Ten runners up will each receive a pair of adult tickets to the Tullett Prebon London International Boat Show.

The competition is divided into two categories - 8-12 years and 13-18 years. Entrants should click onto the Southampton Boat Show website to download an application form, or, whilst at the Show, head to the Topper International stand on E042 to pick up a design pack.
