RYA Powerboat Instructor

This 3-day course trains you in the various techniques and teaching methods required to instruct the RYA Level 1 and 2 syllabus. All students will run a number of practice sessions to develop their personal skills and are given help in identifying areas to progress in.

To qualify for this course you must already have:

  • RYA Powerboat Level 2 certificate
  • Several seasons powerboating experience 
  • Hold a valid First Aid Certificate
  • Pre-course skills assessment*

*Please note that ALL candidates will have to pass a pre-course skills assessment. This will be an assessment of personal boat handling skills and will run on the dates listed below.

RYA Powerboat Instructor Pre-Assessment
Book Course
A pre-powerboat instructor course skills assessment, this will be an assessment of personal boat handling skills. We run this course the day before the Powerboat Instructor Course, however please ensure you are up to the relevant standard prior to booking.
