Family Fun Sailing with Rockley12/04/2010A family of four have decided to let Dinghy Sailing Magazine into their lives and follow them taking up sailing together. As part of an ongoing project with Dinghy Sailing Magazine, the Dunn family are going through the various stages of learning to sail, buying a boat and going on a sailing holiday among others which is going to be documented for all to read on the pages of the magazine. It will be an insight into how a family can learn and take up a sport together and continue to have fun out on the water. Poole Park Open Day22/03/2010The Poole Park Open Day is here with lots of fun and activities for all the family. Sunday March 28th from 10am to 4pm with all kids going FREE on the water! Free taster and hire sessions are available for children with kayaking, sailing, rowing and bell boating. For those not wanting to get wet there are a host of other activities to keep everyone entertained. Climb Vertigo are back with the climbing wall and Water Balls for everyone to try, have a go at 'hook the lifeboat' with the RLNLI team and meet the Round Table Children's Wish charity. It is a fun day not to be missed.

Bob was widely recognised as the father of the RYA's training scheme and was a lifelong friend to the sport and teaching of sailing.
