There are plenty of activities to try off the water too: you can explore the local area by taking one of the many cycle tracks that lead directly from the centre, or take to the trees and test your nerves at one of the local high ropes activity centres.
If you feel like a bit more action you can immerse yourself in surf culture at the nearby town of Hossegor, France’s surfing mecca. For a day or evening out, AzuRivage is close to the chic resort town of Biarritz for a spot of shopping or people watching from the many café’s and restaurants.
