La Reserve

France has something for everyone. For families in particular, there are miles of beautiful sandy beaches, a host of activities and plenty of space for children to explore freely.

For nature lovers the spectacular coastline gives way to a rolling countryside of fields and forests, magnificent lakes and majestic mountains. For connoisseurs of culture, there are cities ancient and modern with museums, galleries, historic sights and local festivals. France truly has scenery, sights and holiday activities to suit every taste.

The Idyllic Lac Biscarrosse

La Reserve lies on the shores of the idyllic Lac Biscarrosse, 40 miles south of Arcachon in the Landes department of South West France.

This 4 star campsite has long been a favourite with watersports enthusiasts as the freshwater lake is warm and shelves gently from the surrounding sandy beaches. Nestled in the tranquillity of one of Europe’s largest natural forests, La Reserve is ideal for those simply wishing to get away from it all. With its enjoyable and lively family atmosphere, La Reserve boasts a superb pool complex with both indoor and outdoor pools and waterslides, a wonderful lakeside sandy beach and all the facilities and amenities you would expect from such a highly graded site.

The sandy beach is the ideal location for those wanting to relax and sunbathe with plenty of room for younger children to build sandcastles and for older ones to enjoy a game of volleyball. For the more energetic amongst you, there are plenty of water activities to enjoy, including waterskiing and wakeboarding.

On a summer’s evening the lakeside bar offers fantastic views and is the perfect location to relax with a glass of something chilled and enjoy the sunset.
