Activities

Our main activities are based around RYA courses in dinghy sailing and windsurfing. Dinghy sailing especially is suitable for all ages and abilities with courses starting from age 6.
A 5-day course is a great way to learn a new skill and make new friends.
Nippers Club (3-5 years)
Our specially developed programme for youngsters offers something completely new and exciting each day with a range of activities including treasure hunts, face painting and both indoor and outdoor games, all in a safe and enjoyable environment.
Junior Sailing Club (6-7 years)
For those too young to join our RYA courses but keen to get out on the water, this course includes fun land and water-based activities, in and around the water enabling children to gain water confidence in preparation for an RYA course.
Beginner Sailing (Junior 8-11, Youth 12-16, Adult 16+)
The perfect location and environment to get to grips with the basics of sailing. Junior and Youth courses cover RYA stage 1 & 2, adult courses cover RYA level 1 & 2.
Improver Sailing (Junior 8-11, Youth 12-16)
Having mastered the basics, this course for Juniors and Youths allows the youngsters to further develop their skills, allowing them to get to grips with sailing crewed boats and covers RYA stage 3 & 4.
Intermediate Sailing (Junior 8-11, Youth 12-16, Adult 16+)
Suitable for all sailors who can sail a triangular course independently, this course covers RYA Seamanship Skills and offers a gentle introduction to sailing with spinnakers. Perfect for the recreational or club sailor.
Sailing Plus (Youth and Adult combined)
Aimed at more experienced youth and adult sailors, our 5 day Sailing Plus course consists of multiple skill development clinics. Each session is managed to ensure every sailor achieves the maximum possible from the course and focuses on how to carry on improving whilst free sailing.

Windsurfing
From your first tentative steps to the sheer exhilaration of blasting along in footstraps and harness, there are few sports more addictive. We have a complete range of beginner and intermediate boards to help develop your skills.
Beginner: Ideal for children from 10 years plus, to adults. Teaching sessions include simulator work on land and plenty of on-water coaching.
Improvers: With the ideal strong afternoon breeze and our teaching tips to get you in footstraps and harness, it won’t be long before you are racing across the lake, turning round and coming back again!
Second Week Options
For those of you who have booked our 2 week Family Activity Holiday, you can take advantage of our ‘Free Sail’ activity sessions. Free Sail equipment – boats and boards can be booked at the start of each morning and afternoon activity session on a first come first served basis and is subject to availability, weather conditions and ability.
Further courses and tuition can be booked for 50% of the standard course price.
