VHF Radio
1 day course looks at the practical operation of a standard marine VHF, channel usage, distress, urgency, safety and routine voice procedures.

- Practical operation of a standard marine VHF

- Safety & routine Global Maritime Distress & Safety System (GMDSS)
- Practical use of DSC equipment
- Successful completion of the course leads to the new Short Range Certificate (SRC)
- You must be fluent in the phonetic alphabet & bring a passport photograph with you
- There is an RYA registration fee payable on the day of the course
RYA Day Skipper Theory
5 day course introduces basic navigation, including chartwork, position fixing, tides, buoyage, weather, safety and passage planning

- Course is suitable for beginners or those with little experience in yachts and dinghies
RYA First Aid
The principles of first aid with the emphasis on working in a water-based environment. Valid for 3 years and recognised for all RYA Instructor qualifications.
