RYA Dinghy Sailing Courses
Rockley Watersports offers dinghy sailing courses from RYA beginner level through to RYA Instructor level at our UK south coast centre in Poole Harbour. All our sailing courses follow the RYA modules for each level of ability and we add as much enjoyment as you can fit in to your time. With courses aimed specifically at juniors and adults, whether a beginner sailing for the first time to an advanced sailor imrpoving your skills, we have something to offer everyone. We also run a large number of RYA Dinghy Instructor and Senior Sailing Instructor Courses throughout the season and have developed packages which include all the necessary course pre-requisites to get you 'working in watersports'.
Our 3 and 5 day adult and junior beginner and intermediate courses run every week of our season, however, please check availability prior to making a booking.
Junior and Youth Dinghy Sailing Courses
We offer a range of weekend, 3 day and 5 day dinghy sailing courses for youngsters which cover all areas of the RYA sailing beginner and intermediate stages. Children aged under 12, are taught in Mango Escapes while the courses for teenagers use a range of single-handed dinghies – toppers and picos. Our instructors teach from safety boats and are selected to work with the junior fleets for their sympathetic and sensitive approach to teaching and especially their sense of fun.

Adult Dinghy Sailing Courses
Our adult courses cover everything from those wanting to learn to sail to those looking to become fully qualified Dinghy Instructors. We offer a range of courses to suit individual lifestyles including 3 and 5 day courses, weekend courses, private tuition and evening sessions.
Gap Year and/or Professional Watersports Training
As the industry's preferred trainer of trainers we have massive experience in teaching people to become watersports instructors. We offer a range of courses in professional and recognised watersports instructor qualifications for dinghy sailing, windsurfing and powerboating.
If you want to get qualified or upgrade your instructor certificates then we have a course for you. Competent, experienced sailors can get qualified in as little as a week - but don't worry if you are less experienced we also offer extended, intensive courses that will give you the qualifications you need.
