This ever popular 5-day course is for competent windsurfers who are looking to teach the Start Windsurfing course and the Youth Windsurfing Scheme.
RYA Windsurf Instructor Package (4 weeks)
Our 4-week course is tailored to give you the qualifications needed to work as a Windsurf Instructor within the UK or overseas. The course covers windsurf skill development, RYA Powerboat level 2, RYA First Aid, VHF and RYA Start Windsurf Instructor

This 4-week package trains individuals to become an RYA Start Windsurf Instructor plus all the necessary pre-requisites. Candidates must have basic windsurfing skills to join the course.
The principles of first aid with the emphasis on working in a water-based environment. Valid for 3 years and recognised for all RYA Instructor qualifications.

- 1 day course covers the principles of first aid with the emphasis on working in a water-based environment
- Certificate is valid for 3 years
- Candidates are required to have a copy of the current edition of the First Aid Manual
Includes basic seamanship skills such as handling the boat safely under power in a variety of conditions and you will spend time practising manoeuvres such as coming alongside and man overboard. Some high speed work will also be undertaken, generally outside the harbour.
