Powerboat Instructor Course (18+ years)

This 3-day course trains you in the various techniques and teaching methods required to instruct the RYA Level 1 and 2 syllabus. All students will run a number of practice sessions to develop their personal skills and are given help in identifying areas to progress in.

To qualify for this course you must already have:

Powerboat Level 2 certificate
several seasons powerboating experience
hold a valid First Aid Certificate.

Please note that from April 2008 candidates will have to pass a pre-course skills assessment. This will be an assessment of personal boat handling skills.
